Hi and welcome! I’m a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Pittsburgh. My current research interest are, broadly: subnational politics, democracy, and political methodology, local resource curse, elites, and bureaucracy. I am from Peru, were I taught classes on statistics and methodology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica, and University Antonio Ruiz de Montoya.
My dissertation focuses on the effect of subnational authoritarian enclaves on national democracies in Latin America.
